BIM Coördinator
BESIX Nederland is seeking a BIM Coördinator to join their multidisciplinary construction team renowned for innovative and leading projects. The BIM Coördinator will play a pivotal role in digital construction processes, creating comprehensive digital information models accessible to all stakeholders during both preparation and execution phases. This position is integral to the project control, environment, and digitization department, collaborating closely with BESIX's Engineering Department, which comprises approximately 40 BIM-related professionals.
The BIM Coördinator will be responsible for organizing and leading BIM coordination meetings, managing and integrating BIM models throughout the construction process, and ensuring the seamless incorporation of various disciplines such as architecture, construction, and installations within the BIM model. Key tasks include implementing and monitoring procedures for BIM data exchange, assembling and managing the coordination model, conducting quality checks to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards, and identifying and resolving design conflicts using clash-detection software like Navisworks.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction sector, particularly on large-scale or complex projects. Proficiency in BIM software such as Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and others is essential. Strong communication skills in Dutch and English are required, as well as the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
