Billing Analyst

Monks is seeking a Billing Analyst to join its Corporate team in Mexico City. This role involves supporting the finance team in executing billing operations and implementing scalable systems and processes efficiently. The ideal candidate is proactive, capable of prioritizing individual and team objectives, and adept at developing accounting and billing infrastructures.

Key responsibilities include reviewing contracts, insertion orders, and statements of work to ensure appropriate approvals and billing rates; managing the billing engine to verify platform accuracy for timely and accurate invoicing; collaborating with delivery teams to resolve invoice discrepancies promptly; reconciling cost of goods sold accruals and bills monthly; assisting legal and sales teams in assessing customer credit and risk analysis; developing and maintaining billing metrics for senior leadership; identifying process improvements and coordinating with other departments to enhance billing and accounting process efficiency; and assisting with ad hoc projects as needed.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; have over three years of accounting experience, including at least one year in accounts receivable or billing; demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills; be able to prioritize competing demands; have the ability to work with various computer systems and large data sets; and exhibit ease of learning and adaptation. Experience in AdTech or technology startups is preferred.
