Bid Manager – Projets d’Infrastructure & Marine
Cabonorte, a leading international general contractor, is seeking a Bid Manager for Infrastructure and Marine Projects to join their team in Dubai. The company specializes in large-scale infrastructure and marine projects across Africa and the United Arab Emirates, renowned for combining technical expertise, commercial acumen, and operational excellence. This role is pivotal in securing strategic projects within competitive environments.
The Bid Manager will oversee the end-to-end management of bids for infrastructure and marine projects, including coastal structures, quays, and marine works. Responsibilities encompass coordinating multidisciplinary teams across engineering, commercial, and operational departments to meet stringent submission deadlines. The role involves defining bid strategies, analyzing client requirements and technical specifications, ensuring alignment between design, costing, and execution planning, and identifying and managing technical, commercial, and contractual risks throughout the bidding process.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with proven experience in bid management for infrastructure and/or marine projects within a general contracting environment. A strong understanding of FIDIC contracts, Design & Build, and EPC models is essential, along with experience in joint ventures or international partnerships. The role requires the ability to manage complex bids under tight deadlines while maintaining quality and strategic coherence, coupled with solid technical knowledge and commercial judgment. Proficiency in French is mandatory, and excellent command of English is required.
