BID Manager (BESIX Environment)
BESIX Environment, an independent entity within the BESIX Group, specializes in developing, engineering, constructing, commissioning, operating, and maintaining projects in water, sustainable energy, and hydrogen infrastructure. The BID Manager will join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to advancing the Group's sustainability strategy by integrating environmental responsibility into every project phase.
The BID Manager will oversee the entire bid process, from prequalification to contract signature, ensuring seamless coordination among various disciplines, including process engineering, EIA, BIM/CAD design, costing, legal, insurance, and risk management. Responsibilities include reviewing and evaluating tender documents, defining bid and subcontracting strategies in collaboration with management, setting up collaboration agreements, and managing bid budgets and planning. Project sizes range from approximately 1 million EUR to 100 million EUR, with locations in the BeNeLux region and internationally.
Candidates should have a minimum of 8 years of combined experience in tendering and executing wastewater or potable water treatment plants in the municipal or industrial sector, including at least 3 years as a tender manager or tender engineer. A solid understanding of the design and build process for water treatment projects is essential, with additional experience in other process treatment technologies considered a plus. The role requires team management skills, flexibility, the ability to meet contract targets, and willingness to travel abroad. Fluency in English, Dutch, and French is mandatory; international experience is advantageous.
