BI Developer
As a BI Developer at Experian, you will join a dynamic team of software engineering specialists dedicated to developing and maintaining reporting services for our corporate business communities. Our primary systems and activities include development, integration, processing, and reporting applications using a wide range of Oracle technologies located within Experian data centers and cloud-based platforms. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with our core integration and business intelligence team and internal business partners, utilizing established development methodologies, secure practices, and change and incident management procedures.
In this position, you will be responsible for developing and supporting Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) repository models, reports, and dashboards. Your day-to-day tasks will involve hands-on development with Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) technologies, reporting, and data modeling techniques, with a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts. Additionally, you will support and administer ETL/ELT tools used for data extraction, design and troubleshoot Oracle database queries, and provide application production support as well as design and development services.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a closely related field. You should have experience in developing and supporting OBIEE/OAS repository models, reports, and dashboards, along with hands-on technical expertise with ETL & ELT technologies (both administration and development), Oracle BI Application (OBIA), OBIEE reporting, and data modeling techniques. Effective management of support tickets with handoffs and exchanges with peers working in global time zones is also essential.
