Eurofins Agroscience Group is seeking a Beekeeper for Ecotoxicological Field Studies to join our team dedicated to scientific research and bee protection. Managing over 350 honey bee colonies, our focus is on assessing the safety and efficacy of new substances and organisms for humans and the environment.

In this role, you will oversee colony management within scientific studies, including swarm control, Varroa treatments, relocating colonies per study requirements, and overwintering. Responsibilities also encompass recording colony development and health, contributing to queen breeding, supporting field trials for plant protection product approvals, collecting samples from plants and bee products, and documenting trials according to standardized methods (GLP).

Candidates should have completed an apprenticeship as a beekeeper or in a related field such as agriculture or horticulture, with several years of beekeeping experience. A strong technical and scientific understanding, basic proficiency in MS Office applications, good English reading and comprehension skills, and a Class B driving license are required. Flexibility, teamwork, resilience, reliability, eagerness to learn, and a genuine interest in working outdoors with honey bees, including occasional weekend work, are essential.
