Backend Tech Lead (Node.js)

BrainRocket is seeking a skilled Backend Tech Lead specializing in Node.js to join our dynamic team in Valencia, Spain. As a global company, BrainRocket develops end-to-end tech products across Fintech, iGaming, and Marketing sectors. Our team of 1,300 professionals is dedicated to innovation and rapid product deployment.

In this role, you will lead a backend team, balancing hands-on development with architectural design. Responsibilities include coding, integrating third-party APIs, designing scalable architectures, enforcing coding standards, and collaborating with stakeholders to align projects with business objectives.

Candidates should have over 8 years of IT experience, including at least 3 years in leadership roles. Proficiency in Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, JavaScript (ECMAScript 6), REST, WebSockets, MySQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, and Git is required. Experience in the iGaming industry is advantageous. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with at least an upper-intermediate level of English, are essential.
