Azure DevOps Lead
Eurofins is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Lead to join our IT Solutions team in Bengaluru, India. This role is integral to our global engineering efforts, focusing on developing next-generation applications and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) that support our extensive network of laboratories worldwide. As a DevOps Technical Lead, you will collaborate with architects, developers, Site Reliability Engineers (SREs), cloud engineers, and security teams to design, build, and govern scalable DevOps platforms and cloud infrastructure.
In this position, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and governance of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps across multiple applications and environments. Your day-to-day activities will include defining and enforcing DevOps standards for source control, branching strategies, artifact management, and release promotions. Additionally, you will drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to ensure consistent and compliant environment provisioning. Managing release management, deployment planning, and implementing zero-downtime deployment strategies such as Blue-Green and rolling deployments will also be key aspects of your role.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline design, and release orchestration. Proficiency in Azure Cloud services, including App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Application Gateway, API Management, Azure Firewall, and Storage, is essential. A strong background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and scripting skills using PowerShell and/or Python for automation is required. Experience managing multi-region and multi-subscription Azure environments, as well as a solid understanding of source control management, branching strategies, and artifact repositories like NuGet, are also necessary.
