Associate Technician, Costa Mesa (2nd Shift)
As an Associate Service Technician at Lucid Motors in Costa Mesa, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our luxury electric vehicles meet the highest standards before reaching our customers. This position is integral to our mission of delivering exceptional electric mobility solutions that redefine performance and intelligence.
Your primary responsibilities will include conducting Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI), performing basic repairs such as part replacements and body adjustments, detailing vehicles, and executing test drives to verify functionality. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting all vehicle interactions using our proprietary software and performing necessary software updates during the inspection process.
We are seeking candidates who are at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver's license with a clean record, and have the ability to learn high and low voltage systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is proficiency with basic computer applications like Microsoft Office. While prior experience in automotive repair environments and familiarity with Pre-Delivery Inspections are preferred, they are not mandatory. Lucid Motors supports professional development by reimbursing costs associated with obtaining ASE certifications within 6-8 months of hire.
Lucid Motors offers a competitive compensation package, with an hourly wage ranging from $27 to $37, depending on experience and qualifications.
