Associate Service Technician, Goose Island
As an Associate Service Technician at Lucid Motors' Goose Island location in Chicago, IL, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our luxury electric vehicles meet the highest standards before reaching our customers. In this position, your primary responsibilities will include conducting Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI), performing detail services, executing test drives, and carrying out basic repairs on Lucid vehicles prior to customer delivery. You will be expected to remove and replace parts, make body adjustments, handle tire and wheel exchanges, perform functionality testing, and manage work orders. Additionally, you will perform software updates as needed and collaborate effectively with other members of the service team and customers.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license with no suspensions in the past year. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office and the ability to learn proprietary DMS software. A willingness to complete Lucid-provided CPR training post-hire is also required. While prior experience in automobile repair environments and familiarity with electric vehicle diagnosis and repair are preferred, they are not mandatory. Lucid Motors expects ASE certifications to be obtained within 6-8 months of the hire date and will reimburse the associated costs upon successful completion.
Lucid Motors offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $25 to $34, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and a 401(k) plan.
