The Associate Project Manager at Oklo will lead communications among project team members, key stakeholders, and leadership, organizing efforts on-site in Lockhart, Texas, to meet contracted requirements for deliverables and services supporting the organization's capital and revenue projects. This role is integral to Oklo's mission of developing advanced fission power plants that provide clean, reliable, and affordable energy.

Key responsibilities include managing capital projects by organizing team efforts with clear statements of work, developing Gantt charts and work breakdown structures, and upholding project management policies and standards. The role also involves overseeing vendor and contract management, ensuring contracts include provisions to manage and mitigate project risks, and acting as the central point of communication for all project-related updates and decisions. Additionally, the Associate Project Manager will coordinate with finance to report on project budgets, identify and mitigate financial and performance risks, and ensure quality assurance standards are met by verifying requirements and accepting deliverables.

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years in technical or industrial project management, a bachelor's degree in engineering or 4-8 years of relevant engineering experience, and proficiency in project management software such as Primavera and MS Project. A strong understanding of quality assurance standards is essential. Experience in startups or resource-constrained environments is highly desired, and nuclear experience in design, construction, commissioning, or operations is considered a bonus.

Oklo offers a competitive salary range of $125,000 to $175,000, dependent on applicant experience. This position requires on-site presence in Lockhart, Texas, approximately 30 miles south of Austin, for the duration of the project, with availability for collaboration with remote employees.
