Associate Product Manager, Core Cards (Gerente Associado de Produto, Processamento de Cartões Core) - Brasil
Clara is seeking an Associate Product Manager to join its Core Cards Processing team in São Paulo, Brazil. This role is central to Clara's payment infrastructure, focusing on high-impact initiatives across products such as Travel, Fleet, and Corporate Cards. The successful candidate will collaborate with processors, networks like Mastercard, and internal engineering teams to build and scale core issuing capabilities. Clara is a rapidly growing company in Latin America, providing solutions for companies to manage their payments with agility and financial clarity.
The Associate Product Manager will be responsible for driving the evolution of Clara's card processing infrastructure, including issuing, card flows, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and payments application. They will partner with business teams to translate vertical needs into core platform capabilities and enable new card-based products through core infrastructure. Additionally, the role involves working closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Compliance, and external providers like Mastercard to coordinate initiatives and support delivery across multiple workstreams. The candidate will also turn complex operational and business problems into structured product solutions, contributing to roadmap planning and long-term platform evolution.
The ideal candidate must have working proficiency in English and Spanish, with experience or strong exposure to payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure. They should possess structured problem-solving skills, the ability to manage product initiatives from discovery to production, and experience working cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and external partners. An interest in AI tools to automate workflows, excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptability to fast-changing environments, and a strong sense of ownership are also essential.
