Associate General Counsel
InfoTrack US is seeking a Head of Legal to lead its legal department and provide strategic guidance on legal matters. This role involves overseeing all legal operations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and supporting the company's business objectives. The Head of Legal will collaborate closely with executive leadership and various departments to mitigate risks and drive growth.
Key responsibilities include managing corporate governance, drafting and negotiating contracts, handling intellectual property issues, and advising on employment law matters. The Head of Legal will also be responsible for developing and implementing legal policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and overseeing any litigation or disputes. Additionally, this role involves staying abreast of legal developments that may impact the company and providing training to staff on relevant legal topics.
The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be a member in good standing of a state bar. A minimum of 7 years of legal experience, preferably with a combination of law firm and in-house counsel roles, is required. Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, intellectual property, and employment law is essential. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills are necessary to succeed in this position.
