Associate Director-Cross Discipline
The Associate Director-Cross Discipline at WPP Media will lead and manage key digital marketing channels, including Search, Social, Programmatic Buying Units (PBU), Ad Operations, and Commerce. This role involves acting as the primary point of contact for these channels, ensuring that the Global Operations Center (GOC) meets and exceeds agency and market expectations. The Associate Director will oversee campaign activation and performance across multiple channels and designated markets, ensuring flawless execution aligned with broader media strategies and brand objectives. Additionally, the role includes building and maintaining strong relationships with internal market teams, agency partners, and cross-functional groups, acting as a strategic advisor offering data-driven solutions tailored to regional needs while upholding global standards. Operational excellence is a key focus, with responsibilities including designing, implementing, and managing scalable workflows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency, campaign quality, and consistency. The Associate Director will also lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team responsible for campaign execution, optimization, and reporting, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture. Innovation and business growth are integral to the role, with expectations to proactively identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and emerging markets, and champion the adoption of automation tools and technology solutions to drive operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a graduation or post-graduation degree in any stream, with over 8 years of professional experience in digital media execution. Expertise in managing respective channel platforms, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, and working knowledge of tools like HubSpot, Smartly, 4C, Scibids, or third-party tools like Dataroma and Google Studio are advantageous. Experience in managing multi-location media activation teams, training, and maintaining quality standards at scale, and providing service to local teams from a centralized location are essential.
