Assistente Fiscal
The Assistente Fiscal at Eurofins is responsible for performing fiscal bookkeeping and reconciliation activities, classifying and controlling permanent assets, and preparing supporting documents and spreadsheets for accounting and managerial reports. This role ensures diligent, objective, and concise execution of tasks, meeting all reporting deadlines.
Key responsibilities include daily registration of invoices in the ERP system, verifying invoices against system orders, checking import documents from customs brokers, assisting in fiscal closures by verifying taxes on revenue and system entries, issuing invoices for imported goods, supporting accounting by providing information for monthly balance sheet closures, and managing the registration and control of the company's fixed and intangible assets. Additionally, the role involves attending internal and external audits, assisting internal and external clients on matters related to the area, supporting processes concerning tax legislation, handling expense and travel reimbursement payments, managing petty cash, suggesting continuous improvements, and performing other related activities as needed.
Candidates should be pursuing a degree in Accounting, Economics, or related fields, with completed graduation being a plus. Required competencies include critical thinking, commitment, effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, organization, discipline, proactivity, dynamism, discretion, punctuality, and analytical capacity. Technical requirements encompass intermediate Excel skills, knowledge in account reconciliation and accounting classification, and preferably, understanding of taxes and withholdings. A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in the fiscal/accounting area is expected.
The position offers a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Familiarity with invoice receipt processes and experience with the Protheus system are advantageous.
