Assistant Chemist (Maritime Service)

Eurofins is seeking an Assistant Chemist to join our Maritime Service team in Singapore. The Assistant Chemist will support the Lab Manager and Senior Chemist in conducting tests, calibrating equipment, and preparing reagents and standard solutions. Responsibilities include performing result entries, quality control checks, inventory maintenance, and basic equipment calibration and maintenance. The role also involves general laboratory tasks such as housekeeping, sample receipt and registration, and maintaining cleanliness of laboratory equipment and apparatus.

Candidates should possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Science, or a related field. The role requires interaction with operational and scientific personnel, and may involve handling potentially hazardous materials. Applicants should be prepared for overtime and weekend work as needed, and be capable of standing or sitting for extended periods, including working within a laboratory hood and at a bench top. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory. Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
