The Area Sales Manager at Eurofins is responsible for developing and executing a territory business plan to promote and sell the Diatherix Eurofins product line, aiming to meet sales targets within the assigned region. This role involves identifying and cultivating new client opportunities while managing existing accounts to ensure sustained growth. Eurofins is a global leader in analytical testing services, committed to ensuring product safety and quality across various industries.

Key responsibilities include utilizing the Diatherix Eurofins sales approach to educate customers on the value of the company's products and services, demonstrating return on investment and value-added propositions. The role also involves developing a thorough understanding of selling skills, sales forecasting, and budget tracking, as well as monitoring and evaluating competitive services and pricing. Effective communication and collaboration with marketing and other sales teams to implement sales and marketing plans are essential.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree, preferably in biological sciences such as Biology, Chemistry, or Microbiology, with strong quantitative skills. A minimum of 2 years' experience selling pharmaceuticals, laboratory services, or other medically related services to the outpatient physician market is required. Experience in molecular diagnostics sales, particularly calling on Pediatricians, Gastroenterologists, Family Practice, and Primary Care physicians, is preferred. Strong communication and presentation skills, the ability to work independently in a large territory, and a team-oriented mindset are also important.
