Area Manager
Lucid Motors is seeking an Area Manager to oversee logistics operations at its Casa Grande, Arizona facility. This role is integral to Lucid's mission of delivering luxury electric vehicles that redefine performance and sustainability. The Area Manager will lead a dynamic team, ensuring efficient material flow and adherence to safety standards within the logistics department.
The Area Manager will be responsible for developing and managing the annual business plan for logistics functions, leading teams to achieve efficiency and accuracy metrics, and acting as the primary information source to ensure compliance and consistency in daily operations. Key duties include implementing standard operating procedures, identifying root causes of issues, leading process improvement initiatives, evaluating performance objectives, and coordinating equipment installations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, service, R&D, regulatory, supply chain, and manufacturing is essential.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, with a college degree preferred. A minimum of five years of experience in areas such as material flow, warehouse design, transportation management, or distribution center management is required, along with at least three years of direct leadership experience. Proficiency in manufacturing and warehouse safety programs, OSHA compliance, and MS Office applications is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and meet timelines, are critical.
