Architect II
CannonDesign is seeking an Architect II to join their multidisciplinary team, focusing on design and technical aspects. The role involves collaboration with design and technical leadership, contributing to various project teams. An initial assignment includes a significant healthcare facility at Mayo Clinic’s campus.
Key responsibilities encompass independent contributions to design, selection, coordination, and architectural detailing. The role requires proficiency in design and presentation tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and Sketch-Up. Managing and developing REVIT models to produce plans, elevations, and sections is essential, along with preparing preliminary design sketches for site plans. Effective communication with other disciplines to ensure project document coordination is vital.
Candidates should possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least four years of related professional experience. Current Architectural Registration in the United States is required. A strong creative design portfolio is essential, along with proficiency in Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, and organizational skills are necessary.
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $62,395 to $78,618, with actual compensation varying based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
