Architect - Entry Level
CannonDesign is seeking an entry-level Architect to join their multidisciplinary team in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. This role focuses on design and technical aspects, offering the opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals and contribute to various project phases.
As an entry-level Architect, your responsibilities will include assisting in the design process using software platforms such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and SketchUp, under the supervision of the Project Architect or Project Designer. You will also build physical models, produce architectural documentation, create graphics for client presentations, and support product research. Additional tasks involve researching building codes, reviewing shop drawings, attending project meetings, and conducting site visits to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program and hold a Council of Architecture - India certificate. A strong creative design portfolio is essential, along with proficiency in Revit and Enscape. Required skills include strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite is also necessary.
