Applied AI Engineer

Riskified is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to collaborate directly with business teams such as finance, sales, and legal, developing tools and automations to enhance their operational efficiency. This role involves not only writing production code but also deeply understanding and improving business processes through AI-driven solutions.

The Applied AI Engineer will lead the technical implementation of AI solutions, selecting appropriate tools and technologies to address specific business challenges. Responsibilities include designing and deploying end-to-end AI systems, integrating them with enterprise platforms like Salesforce and NetSuite, and ensuring they are observable, reliable, and cost-effective.

Candidates should have 4-6+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of deploying production systems. Proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or similar are essential. A deep understanding of large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures, and experience with vector databases are also required.
