Application Specialist - Electronic Lab Notebook

Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing is seeking an Application Specialist to lead the implementation of the Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) application across its laboratories. This role is based in Vimodrone, Italy, and involves collaborating with analysts and lab technicians to transition from traditional paper-based documentation to a digital platform, enhancing data integrity and operational efficiency.

The Application Specialist will be responsible for deploying the ELN system, providing training and support to laboratory staff, and ensuring seamless integration with existing laboratory instruments and software. The position requires approximately 50% travel annually to various Eurofins laboratories to facilitate the ELN rollout and address any implementation challenges.

Candidates should possess a degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field, along with 3–5 years of experience in chemical analytical laboratories. Proficiency with laboratory instruments and software such as HPLC, GC, Empower, and Chromeleon is essential. An interest in IT and digital applications, strong communication skills, and fluency in English are also required. Residency near Vimodrone (MI) is preferred.
