Application Security Engineer
BrainRocket is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing security architectures from cloud infrastructure to applications, implementing "secure by design" principles. You will collaborate with product managers, architects, and developers to integrate security controls into our platform ecosystem and products. Additionally, you will oversee security implementations within infrastructure and application deployment manifests, as well as within CI/CD pipelines.
The ideal candidate will have experience integrating security scanning tools into development pipelines and securing microservices and applications developed using JavaScript and TypeScript. Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab or Jenkins, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, is essential. Hands-on development experience in Python or shell scripting, along with a strong understanding of supply chain security and secure software delivery, is also required.
