As an Applicatiebeheerder at Eurofins Food, Feed & Water in Heerenveen, you will serve as the vital link between Business and IT, ensuring that our systems and applications operate seamlessly and align with organizational needs. Your role involves managing and maintaining critical applications, such as our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), monitoring quality, and contributing to continuous improvements. Occasionally, you may find yourself in the laboratory, donning a white coat, to observe firsthand how your solutions are implemented in practice.
Your daily responsibilities include collaborating with internal teams and external vendors, participating in projects to bring innovative solutions to life, and ensuring that applications and systems function optimally. You will work with systems that are crucial to our business outcomes and consistently seek improvements and innovative solutions. The role offers a hybrid work environment, allowing you to balance office and remote work effectively.
We are seeking candidates with a bachelor's degree in IT, information management, or a related field, and several years of experience as an application or functional administrator. Proficiency in ITIL, SQL, and preferably PowerShell, PowerApps, and PowerAutomate is desired. Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English, along with an analytical, solution-oriented, and results-driven approach, are essential.
Eurofins offers a one-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position (32–40 hours per week). The salary ranges between €3,900 and €5,600 per month (based on a 40-hour workweek), depending on experience. Additional benefits include 25 vacation days with the option to purchase extra leave, a travel allowance of €0.23 per km or full reimbursement for public transport, a home office allowance and a €400 home office budget, a contribution to your gym membership, a pension scheme allowing reduced working hours from age 58 without affecting pension accrual, profit sharing, and an individual choice budget for added flexibility. You can also exchange public holidays to have time off on days that are important to you.
