ANDON Tech
The ANDON Tech position at Lucid Motors is integral to the production of the company's luxury electric vehicles. This role is based in Casa Grande, Arizona, and focuses on supporting daily operations, minimizing production downtime, and resolving technical issues related to torque systems within the General Assembly department. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and supplier teams to ensure seamless manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities include providing technical support and guidance on fastening-related matters, troubleshooting basic issues with the fastening system, and assisting with data interpretation for quality concerns. The role also involves supporting line calls for torque systems, conducting torque surveillance procedures, performing calibrations for various torque systems, and maintaining inventory of torque equipment and accessories. Additionally, the ANDON Tech will work with Manufacturing Engineers to implement process changes and ensure adherence to quality control standards.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18 years old, and have strong math skills for measurements and calculations. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required, along with excellent teamwork and communication skills. The role demands the ability to stand and walk on hard surfaces for 8–12 hours per shift and safely lift, carry, push, or pull 10–50 lbs. regularly, with occasional assisted lifts up to 75 lbs. Flexibility to support various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is also necessary.
