Eurofins is seeking an Analytical Lab Instrumentation Maintenance Coordinator - Team Lead to oversee laboratory instrumentation within a GMP-regulated environment. This role involves managing instrument readiness, troubleshooting, documentation, and client interactions, while coordinating with vendors for complex repairs. The position offers broad exposure across quality control operations, clinical supply workflows, audits, and client partnerships.

Key responsibilities include overseeing and documenting instrument qualifications for HPLC, GC, KF, and UV-Vis instruments; managing instrument moves, change controls, and scheduled maintenance; performing basic troubleshooting and minor repairs; coordinating advanced repairs with external vendors; and maintaining instrument files and audit-ready documentation. Additionally, the role involves supervising a team of five, providing training and development, supporting hiring and onboarding, and building a collaborative team culture. Operational duties encompass coordinating daily tasks to meet turnaround times, managing training records, supporting protocol reviews, and monitoring quality control systems. The coordinator will also act as a client-facing representative for instrumentation and data management, work with internal partners and external vendors to schedule maintenance, ensure vendor documentation compliance, and confidently address equipment-related questions during audits. Compliance responsibilities include entering data into GMARS and other quality systems, supporting change controls and investigations, and maintaining GMP/GDP compliance and inspection readiness.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in life sciences (e.g., chemistry, biology) with over four years of relevant industry experience. Proficiency with analytical instrumentation, including HPLC, GC, KF, and UV-Vis, is required, along with familiarity with the GMARS asset management system. Experience with lab audits and working in a GMP environment is strongly preferred. Professional leadership experience with the ability to train team members is essential, and project management experience is highly desirable. Strong communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team are crucial, as the position is highly client-facing. The candidate should be self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of multitasking while maintaining accurate records and following procedures.
