Analytical Chemistry Laboratory Instrument Technician
Eurofins is seeking an Analytical Chemistry Laboratory Instrument Technician to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. This role is integral to maintaining the functionality and compliance of our laboratory instruments, ensuring they are prepared for scientific operations. The technician will work closely with laboratory personnel to support daily activities and uphold the high standards of our analytical services.
The primary responsibilities include qualifying laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, KF, and UV-Vis, and accurately documenting all related activities. The technician will perform priority repairs, replace consumables like lamps and seals, and execute scheduled maintenance qualifications to maintain compliance. Additional duties involve troubleshooting calibration issues, assisting with instrument upgrades, tracking service activities, and coordinating with vendors for maintenance services.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in science, preferably Chemistry, along with at least two years of relevant work experience. Hands-on experience with analytical instruments and basic troubleshooting skills are essential. Familiarity with GMP practices is strongly preferred. The role requires strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship and should reside within a commutable distance of Indianapolis, IN.
The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $23.65 to $25.88, with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and potential for overtime as needed.
