Analytical Chemist| EAG Laboratories
EAG Laboratories, a division of Eurofins Scientific, is seeking an Analyst IV to join our team in Maryland Heights, Missouri. This role focuses on chemical testing of industrial and consumer products, specializing in investigative analytical chemistry. Our laboratory provides services such as evaluating consumer product label claims, reverse engineering pharmaceuticals and nutritional supplements, contaminant identification, and testing medical devices.
The Analyst IV will apply standard and non-standard techniques to determine the composition, properties, and structure of materials. Responsibilities include performing sample preparation, recording and analyzing test data, maintaining scientific records, preparing analytical reports for customers, and handling customer materials and company equipment responsibly. Employees are expected to comply with ISO 27001 standards and company information security requirements.
Candidates should possess an MS or PhD in Chemistry with 1-3+ years of industry experience; a BS degree will be considered based on qualifications. Experience with LC/GC, spectroscopy, and chemical characterization is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, along with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of method development and validation processes in regulated environments are required. A desire to learn new processes and techniques is also important.
Compensation is aligned with market standards for the region and tailored to individual qualifications and experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
