Analyst II R&D - Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing Toronto, Inc.
Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing Toronto, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Analyst II R&D to join our Research and Development team in Toronto, Canada. In this role, you will support the development and validation of analytical methods for pharmaceutical products, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to conduct testing, analyze data, and contribute to the advancement of our product portfolio.
Key responsibilities include developing, validating, verifying, and transferring analytical methods for assay and impurities testing in accordance with ICH and regulatory guidelines. You will perform routine and validation analyses using advanced analytical instrumentation, including HPLC, GC, LC-MS/MS, and GC-MS/MS. Additionally, you will conduct analytical testing and quality control procedures on pharmaceutical products, analyze and interpret complex data, and prepare and review method validation protocols and reports. Troubleshooting analytical methods and resolving technical issues to ensure consistent and reliable results are also integral parts of this role.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline, along with 5-10 years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical R&D, product testing, or analytical laboratory environments. Strong proficiency in analytical techniques and familiarity with laboratory instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, and mass spectrometry are essential. A solid understanding of pharmaceutical quality control procedures and regulatory compliance standards (GMP/GLP), excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong technical writing and documentation abilities are also required. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, as well as an organized and efficient approach to managing multiple projects and priorities, are key attributes for success in this position.
Eurofins offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of CAD 55,000 to CAD 70,000 per year. Please note that relocation to Mississauga, ON, is expected in mid-2026.
