Eurofins Drinking Water and Wastewater Northeast is seeking an Analyst I to join their team in Derry, New Hampshire. Eurofins Scientific is a global leader in analytical testing services, dedicated to ensuring the safety and authenticity of products across various industries, including environmental testing. This role focuses on the preparation and analysis of drinking water samples using standard analytical techniques in compliance with Eurofins' Quality Assurance programs and standard operating procedures.

The Analyst I will be responsible for preparing samples using standard techniques, performing chemical analyses, calculating and recording data, and reporting any unusual test occurrences to the supervisor. Additional duties include routine instrument maintenance, general housekeeping in the work area, and adhering to environmental health, safety, and quality assurance standards. The position requires regular attendance and punctuality, with a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and participation in a Saturday rotation every few weeks.

Candidates must possess strong reading, writing, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage time effectively. A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field is required, though three years of laboratory experience may substitute for the degree. A minimum of eight chemistry credits is necessary. Laboratory experience and previous production-oriented work are helpful. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship is required, along with the ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen. Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking, is also required.
