AM Service Specialist (4x10 schedule)
Divergent is seeking a dedicated AM Service Specialist to join our team in Torrance, California. As a leader in advanced manufacturing, we have developed the Divergent Adaptive Production System (DAPS), revolutionizing vehicle structure production. This role is integral to maintaining and enhancing our additive manufacturing equipment, ensuring the highest standards in aerospace and automotive manufacturing.
The AM Service Specialist will be responsible for operating and maintaining metal powder bed fusion additive manufacturing machines. Key duties include conducting scheduled preventative maintenance, performing mechanical and electro-optical repairs, and executing complex calibration procedures. The role also involves diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues, documenting root causes, and implementing effective corrective actions to minimize production downtime.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a technical field, or equivalent maintenance technician experience. Essential qualifications include experience in automation and machine control, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and a strong aptitude for hands-on work with additive technology. The role requires self-motivation, the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in using a variety of hand tools and test equipment.
The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $40 to $55, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
