As an Allround Schrijnwerker at ComTIS Services, a subsidiary of the BESIX Group, you will be integral to the technical and structural maintenance of buildings, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and energy efficiency. Operating primarily in the Antwerp region, you will join a dedicated team committed to ensuring the longevity and comfort of various properties.
Your daily responsibilities will include executing small to medium-sized projects such as installing windows, doors, cabinets, ceilings, and floor and wall coverings. You will perform repairs on interior finishes like plasterwork, gyproc, baseboards, and stairs, as well as hardware components including locks, hinges, and door closers. Additionally, you will mount and adjust interior doors, fire doors, and custom-made furniture, address issues related to drafts and alignment, conduct preventive inspections, and maintain a safe and orderly work environment in compliance with current safety regulations. Interacting with clients to discuss completed work and reporting tasks via a digital platform are also key aspects of the role.
The ideal candidate holds a diploma in construction or wood technology, or possesses equivalent experience, with strong practical knowledge of carpentry and solid construction insight. Familiarity with technical plans and maintenance tasks is essential. You should be independent, precise, and solution-oriented, with a valid driver's license B (BE is a plus) and a VCA certificate.
