As an AI Tutor specializing in Urdu at xAI, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing Grok's capabilities in voice interactions, speech recognition, and auditory experiences. Your primary responsibilities will include using proprietary software to label, annotate, and provide inputs on projects involving multilingual audio clips, voice recordings, and speech samples. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality curated audio data that guarantees clear, natural spoken output and accurate representation of linguistic and prosodic details. Collaborating closely with technical staff, you will develop tasks to improve the AI's ability to handle speech modulation, accent variation, and noise in real-world recordings, as well as enhance annotation tools for efficient audio workflows.
The ideal candidate will have native proficiency in Urdu, with exposure to diverse accents and dialects, and a minimum B2 level proficiency in English. Strong auditory perception to identify nuances in speech, accents, pronunciation, and intonation is essential. Demonstrated ability to transcribe audio with high accuracy across varying accents and audio quality, along with comfort in providing high-quality voice recordings and feedback on audio samples, is required. Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills are also necessary.
Compensation for U.S.-based candidates ranges from $35 to $45 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, skills, education, and location.
