AI Tutor - Tagalog

As an AI Tutor specializing in Tagalog at xAI, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our AI systems' multilingual audio capabilities. Our mission is to develop AI that accurately understands the universe and aids humanity in its pursuit of knowledge. You will join a small, highly motivated team dedicated to engineering excellence and innovation.

Your primary responsibilities will include curating and annotating high-quality audio data in Tagalog to improve our AI's voice interactions and speech recognition. This involves providing labels, annotations, and recordings for projects involving multilingual audio clips and voice samples. Collaborating closely with technical staff, you will help develop tasks that enhance the AI's ability to process speech modulation, accent variations, and real-world audio challenges.

We require native proficiency in Tagalog, with exposure to diverse accents and dialects, and at least a B2 level of proficiency in English. Strong auditory perception skills are essential, along with the ability to transcribe audio accurately across various accents and audio qualities. Experience in linguistics, speech sciences, or related fields is preferred, as is prior work with speech/audio datasets and annotation workflows.

This is a remote position, offering flexibility in work location. Compensation ranges from $35 to $65 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
