AI Tutor - Spanish
As an AI Tutor specializing in Spanish at xAI, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our AI system, Grok, by training it to excel in voice interactions, speech recognition, and auditory experiences across diverse Spanish dialects and cultural contexts. This position is integral to xAI's mission of creating AI systems that accurately understand the universe and aid humanity in its pursuit of knowledge.
Your primary responsibilities will include using proprietary software to provide labels, annotations, recordings, and inputs on projects involving Spanish audio clips, voice recordings, and speech samples. You will support the delivery of high-quality curated audio data, ensuring clear, natural spoken output and accurate representation of linguistic and prosodic details such as intonation, rhythm, and accent. Collaboration with technical staff will be essential to develop tasks that improve Grok's ability to handle speech modulation, accent variation, and noise in real-world recordings.
The ideal candidate will have native proficiency in Spanish, with exposure to diverse accents and dialects, and a minimum B2 level of proficiency in English. Strong auditory perception skills are required to identify nuances in speech, accents, pronunciation, intonation, and audio quality. Experience in transcribing audio with high accuracy across various accents and varying audio quality is essential. Additionally, candidates should possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to articulate audio-related feedback effectively.
Compensation for this role ranges from $35 to $45 per hour, depending on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, geographic location, and qualifications.
