AI Tutor - English (Foreign Accents)
As an AI Tutor specializing in multilingual audio capabilities, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing xAI's Grok system to excel in voice interactions, speech recognition, and auditory experiences across diverse languages, accents, and cultural contexts. Your contributions will focus on curating and annotating high-quality audio data to improve Grok's global accessibility, enabling natural spoken interactions for users worldwide and bridging language barriers through accurate speech processing.
In this role, you will utilize proprietary software to label, annotate, and transcribe multilingual audio clips and speech samples. You will provide high-quality voice recordings and audio inputs across various languages and accent varieties. Collaborating closely with engineers and researchers, you will design annotation tasks, refine tool workflows, and evaluate speech accuracy, intonation, prosody, and accent-related nuances to enhance model outputs.
The ideal candidate will have proficiency in English (minimum B2 level) with exposure to foreign accents and dialects. Strong auditory perception for identifying pronunciation, intonation, and accent variations is essential. High-accuracy transcription skills across varying audio quality and accents, experience handling multilingual audio content, and the ability to produce professional-quality voice recordings are required. Clear written and verbal communication, along with strong organizational and analytical skills, are also necessary.
Compensation for this role ranges from $35 to $45 per hour, depending on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, geographic location, and qualifications.
