Advisory Systems Engineer - DV Cleared
Arista Networks is seeking an experienced Advisory Systems Engineer with active Developed Vetting (DV) clearance to join our Sales Engineering team. This role involves collaborating with industry experts to provide technical leadership and support for our Public Sector clients, focusing on data center, campus, and routing environments. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor, aligning Arista's innovative solutions with clients' strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities include proactively engaging with customers to position Arista products, conducting network architectural reviews, and delivering product presentations. The role also involves assisting in deploying and integrating CloudVision, APIs, and automation toolsets, supporting customers in implementing workflows for monitoring and provisioning, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement using Arista’s open, programmable platforms. Additionally, the engineer will deliver strategic technical workshops, provide guidance on training and certification, and produce business-oriented documentation such as success runbooks and adoption roadmaps.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in customer-facing technical roles, with expertise in L2/L3 networking, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EVPN, VXLAN), and automation ecosystems including EOS, CloudVision, Ansible, Terraform, and Python. Strong consultative and business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to link technical outcomes to revenue growth are essential. An Arista ACE certification or willingness to obtain it within the first 90 days is preferred.
