The Advanced Manufacturing Maintenance Specialist at Divergent is responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of high-tech manufacturing equipment, including CNC mills, robotic work cells, laser-based additive systems, vacuum furnaces, ovens, and chillers. This role is integral to maintaining production efficiency and upholding safety and quality standards within the company's innovative manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities include operating and maintaining various manufacturing machines per standard operating procedures, tracking key performance indicators such as overall equipment effectiveness and cycle time, executing scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and software faults, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. The specialist is also expected to document maintenance activities and continuously improve standard operating procedures and troubleshooting guides.

Required qualifications encompass the ability to lawfully access information and technology subject to US export controls, proficiency in operating CNC, robotic, and laser-additive machines, experience in diagnosing and repairing complex equipment faults, and familiarity with compliance standards such as AS9100, IATF 16949, and ISO 45001. Preferred qualifications include advanced troubleshooting skills, knowledge of CNC programming and robot cell integration, experience with laser-based additive manufacturing, and proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems and enterprise resource planning systems.

Divergent offers a competitive compensation package, with pay ranges based on the level of the job. For this role, candidates at Specialist Level 3 are offered $40 - $55 per hour, and at Specialist Level 4, $46 - $63 per hour.
