Advanced Analytics Manager, GOC
The Advanced Analytics Manager at WPP Media's Global Operations Centre (GOC) plays a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the company's data infrastructure. This position involves close collaboration with teams across the United States, Europe, and Asia to deliver high-impact solutions in a multicultural environment. Key responsibilities include managing database logic, implementing changes, and overseeing the development of data pipelines and APIs to support business needs. The manager will analyze data, consult with subject matter experts, and draft clear business and technical requirements documents. Additionally, the role involves creating and managing project timelines, prioritizing tasks using tools like Azure DevOps and Smartsheets, and ensuring all parties meet deliverables. Facilitating communication through regular status meetings and proactively resolving project roadblocks are also essential duties.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's or advanced degree in Statistics, Economics, Business, Math, Computer Science, or a related field. An advanced English proficiency level (B2–C2) is required. A minimum of three years of experience in the marketing or media industry, particularly in digital investment, analytics, or ad operations, is essential. Additionally, at least three years of experience in data governance processes within a data warehousing, ETL, and business intelligence environment, along with two years in a business analysis or technical project management role, are necessary. Strong proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Azure for database management is also required.
