Eurofins is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) Development team in Braga, Portugal. This role focuses on modernizing the web-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system that supports critical laboratory processes within the Eurofins Information System (EurIS). The successful candidate will collaborate in a scrum environment with software engineers and Software Development Engineers in Test (SDETs) to deliver high-quality, robust, and scalable software solutions.

Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites with a target automation ratio of approximately 80%. The engineer will contribute to acceptance, regression, and deployment testing activities, perform exploratory testing to identify usability issues and defects, and integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure continuous quality. Collaboration with developers, architects, business analysts, and Quality Assurance (QA) colleagues is essential to achieve comprehensive test coverage and improve test strategies and quality processes.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, along with at least three years of software testing experience emphasizing strong automation skills and effective manual testing capabilities. Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as C# or Java, experience with UI automation tools like Selenium or and a solid understanding of REST APIs and ESB patterns are required. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines are also essential. Desirable qualifications include exposure to BDD tools, scripting languages, and performance testing tools, as well as familiarity with containerization technologies and modern frontend technologies.
