Accounts Receivable Specialist - Malmo
Neo4j is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its growing finance team in Malmö. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the company's billing and collection processes, contributing to the financial health of the organization.
Key responsibilities include preparing monthly reconciliations between accounts receivable aging and the general ledger, recording customer payments and related bank fees, and serving as the primary contact for customer inquiries related to invoices. You will collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Revenue Operations, and Professional Services to resolve discrepancies, monitor aged accounts, proactively contact customers to facilitate timely payments, validate billing information against contracts, and generate invoices promptly. Additionally, you will assist with customer onboarding and portal registration, provide documentation for audit requests, prepare bad debt analyses, and implement process improvements to enhance overall operations.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, along with 1–3 years of experience in an accounts receivable or customer-facing role. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly with functions like XLOOKUP and data sorting, is essential. Familiarity with ERP and billing systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Oracle, or QuickBooks is preferred. Attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, and an analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities are crucial for success in this position. Proficiency in multiple languages is also advantageous.
