Accounts Payable Analyst
As an Accounts Payable Analyst at Monks, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely vendor payments, thereby strengthening our financial operations. This position involves processing and validating invoices in NetSuite, managing reconciliations, maintaining vendor records, coordinating with procurement and treasury across the full payment cycle, supporting audits, and contributing to the improvement of accounts payable processes. Your efforts will directly impact cash flow forecasting, compliance, and vendor relationships.
Key responsibilities include receiving, verifying, and recording supplier invoices in NetSuite, ensuring compliance with tax, contractual, and company policies. You will prepare accounts payable reconciliations, resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams, and maintain up-to-date vendor files. Monitoring due dates, preparing payment runs, and ensuring on-time payments are essential aspects of the role. Additionally, you will assist with accounts payable aging reports, contribute to projected cash flows, coordinate with procurement and treasury to manage the end-to-end payment cycle, support audit processes with accurate documentation, and identify opportunities to enhance accounts payable efficiency and control.
The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable or related accounting processes. A degree or technical qualification in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required. Working knowledge of accounting principles and basic tax regulations is essential. Proficiency in Excel (including lookups and pivot tables) and experience with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite, are preferred. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication, a collaborative mindset, and high professional ethics and confidentiality are key attributes for success in this role.
