Accounts & Audit Assistant

Twenty Twenty Consulting is seeking a motivated and ambitious Accounts & Audit Assistant to join our York-based team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, contributing to the preparation of statutory accounts and participating in audit processes. The successful candidate will be part of a supportive team dedicated to delivering high-quality financial services to our diverse client base.

Key responsibilities include preparing statutory accounts from client records, completing corporation tax computations with iXBRL tagging submissions, and performing audit duties under the guidance of the audit senior. The role also involves managing multiple tasks across different managers while maintaining awareness of deadlines, attending year-end stock takes, recording results appropriately, and producing meaningful stock take reports.

Applicants should ideally be AAT Level 3 qualified or part-qualified, with a desire to complete the full AAT qualification (study support will be provided). A minimum of two B's and one C at A-level or equivalent is required. Strong numeracy skills, excellent oral and written communication abilities, and familiarity with Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel, are essential. Flexibility, commitment, and the ability to work effectively within a team are also important.
