Accountant (On Site)
As an Accountant at Monks, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards. This position is integral to our high-growth, innovation-driven organization, where you will collaborate closely with various teams to support audits, reporting, and continuous process improvements.
Your primary responsibilities will include recording, classifying, and reconciling transactions across accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and journal entries. You will prepare and review monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, vendors, customers, and general ledger accounts. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with local tax regulations, support tax filings, and prepare financial statements and management reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
We are seeking candidates with 2–4 years of relevant accounting or finance experience and a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A solid knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting best practices is essential. Proficiency with MS Excel and ERP/accounting systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks is required. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication in English are also important.
