Accountant

BrainRocket is seeking an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, VAT, and tax reporting for a dedicated portfolio of companies, ensuring full compliance with IFRS and local tax regulations. This role is based in Limassol, Cyprus, and offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic and innovative team in a rapidly growing global company.

Key responsibilities include performing daily accounting tasks, preparing and submitting VAT and tax reports, ensuring adherence to IFRS and Cyprus VAT rules, supporting the preparation of annual financial statements, and drafting financial reports with insightful analysis as required.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Accounting or a related field, have previous accounting experience with exposure to tax compliance in Cyprus, and demonstrate proficiency in English. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and a client-focused mindset with excellent communication abilities are essential.

The position offers 24 working days of vacation per year, 6 sick days without a doctor's note, medical insurance, and celebrations for birthdays, milestones, and employee anniversaries. The role begins with training in Cyprus as part of a six-person team. Following this period, the professional will have the opportunity to relocate to Spain to build and lead a local team as the workload increases.
