Account Manager (SMB) (Position located in London, England)
The Account Manager (SMB) at KnowBe4 is responsible for promoting and selling the company's suite of products and services to existing small and medium-sized business accounts. This role focuses on exceeding monthly sales quotas by encouraging customers to purchase additional products, increase subscription levels, and add seats as their organizations grow. The position is based in London, England, within a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing cybersecurity awareness and training.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining a pipeline of cross-sale, add-on, and upgrade opportunities by developing strong relationships with assigned accounts. The Account Manager will articulate the value proposition of KnowBe4's full product suite, educate customers on improving their human firewall, identify key decision-makers, and follow up on marketing leads to generate revenue opportunities. Additionally, the role involves strategic negotiation of multi-year deals and discounted pricing to increase annual recurring revenue, as well as maintaining accurate sales records via Salesforce.
Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience selling to small and medium-sized businesses, with a bachelor's degree or higher education being desirable. Familiarity with IT, security, or cybersecurity concepts is advantageous, along with experience using Salesforce, Gmail, Google Docs, and MS Office. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a motivated and energetic self-starter attitude, strong collaboration and teamwork abilities, and the capacity to work with minimal supervision are essential for success in this role.
