Arista Networks is seeking an Account Manager to join our Sales team, focusing on State, Local, and Education (SLED) accounts in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. This role involves collaborating with a team of skilled Customer Engineers, Professional Services, and Executive teams to deliver innovative networking solutions tailored to the unique needs of SLED clients. Arista is renowned for its data-driven, client-to-cloud networking solutions, leveraging advancements in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and software-defined networking to provide clients with a competitive edge.

The Account Manager will be responsible for exceeding measurable sales objectives and expanding the Arista brand within the assigned SLED accounts. Key responsibilities include utilizing a consultative selling approach to address business needs across Arista's product portfolio, meeting with key influencers and decision-makers to present Arista's value proposition, designing and positioning compelling solutions with systems engineers, collaborating with technology partners, managing key channel relationships, formulating strategic account plans, conducting demand generation activities, and staying updated on technology partner solutions and competitor strategies.

Candidates should possess a hunter mentality with a proven track record in technology sales, including cultivating relationships with existing customers and penetrating new accounts. Required qualifications include a BS/BA degree or equivalent, 8+ years of technology sales experience, a proven track record of direct selling into target accounts within the assigned territory and exceeding sales targets, relevant data center or networking industry background, strong relationships within the territory, and excellent interpersonal skills.
