Arista Networks is seeking a dedicated Account Manager to join our Sales team, focusing on State, Local, and Education (SLED) accounts in the Austin and San Antonio areas. This role involves collaborating with skilled Customer Engineers and aligning technical resources to meet customer business outcomes. The Account Manager will report to a Regional Sales Manager or Area VP of Sales.

The primary responsibilities include exceeding measurable sales objectives and expanding the Arista brand within SLED accounts. The Account Manager will utilize a consultative selling approach to address the business needs of hybrid cloud computing and legacy IT systems across Arista's product portfolio, including Software-Driven Cloud Networking platforms, EOS (Open Source Network OS), Cognitive Campus Networking, Wi-Fi Campus networking, Cloud Vision (Network Automation & Telemetry), Network Monitoring Fabric solutions, NDR, Endpoint, and AI-driven Network Identity Access security solutions. Engaging with key influencers, decision-makers, and C-level executives to present Arista’s value proposition is essential. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with systems engineers to design cost-effective solutions, managing key channel relationships, formulating strategic account plans, and conducting demand generation activities such as happy hours, lunch-and-learns, and technology forums.

Candidates should possess a BS/BA degree or equivalent, along with a minimum of 8 years of technology sales experience. A proven track record of direct selling into target accounts within the assigned territory and exceeding sales targets is required. Relevant experience in data center or networking (LAN/WAN, SDN) industries from a technology partner, competitor, channel partner, or end user is essential. Strong relationships within the territory and excellent interpersonal skills are necessary. Technical acumen in areas such as Networking, SDN, NFV, Switching, Network Automation, Routing, Data Center, Edge Computing, Network Virtualization, Hyper-converged infrastructure, or Cloud computing is also required.

The base salary for this role ranges from $108,000 to $145,000, with the actual offer depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and work location. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and equity. Employees in Sales roles are eligible to participate in Arista’s Sales Incentive Plan, which pays commissions calculated as a percentage of eligible sales.
