As an Account Manager on Checkr’s Mid-Market team, you will own a portfolio of commercial customer accounts, focusing on retaining and growing revenue through renewals and expansion. This role involves managing the full commercial lifecycle for your accounts, from executing timely renewals to identifying and closing upsell opportunities, while collaborating closely with Customer Success Managers to ensure a unified account team approach.

Key responsibilities include owning revenue retention and growth by carrying a quota tied to gross revenue retention and net expansion for your book of business. You will execute timely renewals at terms that reflect the value Checkr delivers, identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts, and close them. Managing a high-volume pipeline is essential, requiring rigorous Salesforce hygiene, accurate forecasting, and timely deal progression across numerous accounts simultaneously.

The role demands a minimum of 3 years of experience in account management, customer success with a commercial component, or B2B SaaS sales managing renewals and/or expansion revenue. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to manage a high-volume book of business, possess strong command of Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) for pipeline management and forecasting, and have experience negotiating commercial terms grounded in value and ROI. Effective partnership with cross-functional teams and clear, concise communication skills are also essential.
