Account Manager
Arista Networks is seeking an Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team in the greater Las Vegas, NV area. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between Arista and our clients, aligning our technical resources to address and solve customer challenges. You will collaborate with a team of skilled Customer Engineers, Professional Services, and Executive teams to ensure the successful execution of customer objectives. This position reports to a Regional Sales Manager or Area Vice President of Sales.
As an Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to exceed measurable sales objectives and expand the Arista brand within G2000 accounts, as well as develop new logo accounts. You will employ a consultative selling approach to address the business needs of hybrid cloud computing and legacy IT systems across Arista's product portfolio, including Software-Driven Open Networking switching platforms, high-performance Data Centers, Campus networks, Cognitive Campus Wi-Fi solutions, DANZ Monitoring Fabric, Network Detection & Response (NDR), and Endpoint Security solutions. Key tasks include meeting with key influencers and decision-makers, collaborating with systems engineers to design cost-effective solutions, managing channel relationships, and conducting demand generation activities such as happy hours and technology forums.
The ideal candidate possesses a hunter mentality with a proven track record in technology sales, including cultivating relationships with existing customers and penetrating new accounts. A minimum of 5 years of technology sales experience is required, along with a BS/BA degree or equivalent. Relevant experience in data center or networking (LAN/WAN, SDN) from a technology partner, competitor, channel partner, or end user is essential. Strong relationships within the territory, excellent interpersonal skills, and technical acumen in areas such as Networking, SDN, NFV, Switching, Network Automation, Routing, Data Center, Edge Computing, Network Virtualization, Hyper-converged infrastructure, or Cloud computing are highly desirable.
The base salary for this role ranges from $78,000 to $147,000, depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, commissions, equity, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, wellbeing, tax savings, and income protection.
